Note:
When adding additional items to an established playlist, the
Playlist Builder
inserts
the new items above the selected line (indicated in blue) in the active playlist. To add
items to the end of a playlist, select the
<<END>>
line.
Deleting items from a playlist
Only one item at a time can be deleted from the active playlist. To delete an item from an
open playlist:
1. Select an item from the active playlist.
2. Click the
Delete
button located below the active playlist. The
Playlist Builder
removes the item from the playlist.
Moving items in a playlist
Items in a playlist are played in the order that they appear in the playlist.To move an item in
an open playlist:
1. Select an item from the active playlist.
2. Click either the
Up
or
Down
buttons located below the active playlist. The
Playlist Builder
moves the item accordingly within the playlist.
Note:
Only one item at a time can be moved within the active playlist.
Navigating large playlists
When a playlist contains more than 100 items, the current playlist window only displays 100
items at a time. Use the playlist navigation tools to view the other items in the playlist.
Playlist pages
Each page in a playlist consists of 100 items and the scroll bar on the right side allows you
to scroll and view the items on each playlist page. If there are any changes to a playlist’s
items such as
Up
,
Down
, or
Delete
, then the playlist window adjusts the playlist page.
Example:
If the current playlist page displays items 201-300 and you delete item 220, then
the open playlist page adjusts to display items 171-270. Clicking the
Next Page
button, resets the window and displays items 301-400. See
Figure 3.28

on page 57.
