Install “T” fitting assembly in the 
heater core return hose as shown 
in the diagram (56).

Connect the coolant return hose 

from the coolant valve to the 
lower fitting on the “T” assembly 
(55). 

 

51.

 

Connect the ¾” heater hose (45) 
to the upper fitting on the “T” 

assembly (56). Route the hose 
through the engine compartment 
to the area where the coolant 
pump is mounted.
