5 Maintenance & Cleaning

Warning:

Before carrying out any maintenance, remove the battery.

Routine maintenance can be carried out by users and/or assistants who are familiar with these instructions.
A LOLER Test Certificate is required every 6 months and should be carried out by a qualified technician.
The inspection must include a visual and functional check on the following elements:
• Structure, anchors, components, mechanisms, controls, safety systems;
• Supporting devices for the individual (slings, spreader bar, seat, mobile base, etc.)

Check the safety of the equipment after any “rough treatment” (e.g..: falls, bumps, etc.) and whenever in doubt.
Use a cloth and a mild detergent to clean the painted parts.
To prevent oxidation of chromed parts, every 2 weeks clean them and all the parts subject to friction (e.g..: actuator sleeve,
arm-seat anchoring unit, etc.) with a stainless steel cleaner. Batteries are sealed and therefore maintenance free, they only need to
be recharged.

Warning:

The equipment is not protected against water spray.
