threshold, expansion occurs, but only to 
those frequencies below that set by the 
FREQ control. Normally, the DE-ESSER 
should not normally be used in this mode. 
The PEAK LIMITER may be used for effect.

Expansion occurs over the entire audio 
bandwidth. However, it is under the control 
of either low or high frequencies, as set by 
the links and FREQ control.
