8. Warranty
MANUFACTURER‘S WARRANTY
The manufacturer WATTSTUNDE® GmbH grants a 5 year warranty on all models of the NovaBase
series and a 7 year warranty on all models of the NovaCore series from the date of purchase on
February 01, 2024.
The period for calculating the warranty period begins with the invoice date. The warranty period is
not extended due to the provision of services under this warranty, in particular not in the event of
replacement or repair. In such cases, the warranty period shall not begin a new.
The manufacturer‘s warranty service extends geographically to the Federal Republic of Germany.
If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as guarantor, shall
provide one of the following services under the guarantee at its discretion:
• free repair of the goods or
• free replacement of the product with an equivalent item (including a successor model if the original
product is no longer available).
Please contact the guarantor in the event of a warranty claim:

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage, defects and malfunctions of the goods due to:
• use not in accordance with the operating instructions
• environmental influences, force majeure (moisture, heat, overvoltage, lightning, etc.)
• improper, abusive or negligent handling or use
• non observance of any safety precautions
• failure to observe the operating instructions
• malfunctions caused by other connected devices
• use of force (e.g. impact, shock, fall, deformation, transportation damage)
• unauthorized repair attempts
• normal wear and tear
