MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Always be sure to unplug power cord from electrical outlet
before cleaning or servicing Distiller.
Cleaning Boiler Tank
Rinse the boiler tank with warm water before every distillation cycle to
remove any loose residue. As scale deposits accumulate, use an approved
cleaner, such as
KLEENWISE
, to remove deposits. White vinegar or
automatic coffee pot cleaner can also be used. DO NOT operate Distiller
with cleaning solution in boiler tank. Use a soft plastic or nylon scouring
pad
if
needed.
DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, caustic acids, steel wool
pads or metal utensils. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. Wipe outside of
Distiller with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soapy water.
Cleaning Condenser
Dirty
condenser
fi ns can cause poor cooling effi ciency. If you notice steam
coming from the fi lter spout or a decrease in the amount of distilled water,
clean the condenser fi ns.
• Remove three screws (located under gasket) from the cover (fi g. E)
• Clean accumulated dust/dirt from fi ns with small brush or vacuum
cleaner
• Replace cover and secure with the three screws
