11. This appliance contains a UV-C emitter
(UV lamp).
12. Unintended use of the appliance or
damage to the housing may result in the
escape of dangerous UV-C radiation.
UV-C radiation may, even in little doses,
cause harm to the eyes and skin.
13. Appliances that are obviously damaged
must not be operated.
14. Read the maintenance instructions before
opening the appliance.

The appliance must be disconnected from
the supply before replacing the UV lamp.

The UV lamp must be replaced at 12
month intervals or when necessary.
If the unit is placed in a high use area,
the UV lamp will need to be replaced
more frequently. The quartz spiral can
be cleaned by using an ultrasonic bath
if needed.
17. WARNING:
Do not operate the UV lamp
when it is removed from the appliance
enclosure.
