When the appliance has been fully turned on, you should see the
following lights on the front of the device:
- If you have connected the appliance to a network or to a
computer, one of the Ethernet10/100 indicator lights should be
lit (or, in the Firebox V100, the Link light will be lit).
- The Ready LED should blink while initialization is underway,
then be steadily lit.

Start the Vcontroller software.

After successfully logging into the appliance with Vcontroller (as
described in the
System Administration Guide
) you can now proceed
with other set-up and customizing tasks (also described in the
System
Administration Guide
).
