Audio

Audio

The

Audio

button lets you adjust the volume level of tones, live audio, and playback. This

button does not affect the volume level of the recorded audio. Typically, live is turned off or
muted, but it can be useful if you want to monitor the audio of an officer outside the vehicle. For
example, in a training situation monitoring through the wireless microphone.

1. Touch the

Audio

button on the

Main Menu

screen.

The

Volume Settings

screen opens.

Note:

You can also set the volume level from the

Volume

control on the control

panel.

2. Set the volume level for

Tones

—the sound 4RE makes when it finishes a process, issues an

alert, etc., such as when a recording starts or stops.

3. Set the volume level for

Live

—the audio coming live from the wireless microphone.
