Installation Manual

7.3.2 Compensation Files (characterised systems only)

If your system has been characterised, there are compensation files available for your Transducer and

BTxR. The compensation files specific to your system are available from your dealer.

The compensation files are named as follows:

TransducerCompensationFileXXXX.dat

ElectricalCompensationFileXXXXXX.dat

7.3.2.1 Installing Compensation Files

Follow these steps to install and apply the compensation files specific to your system.

Acquire the appropriate compensation files

from your distributor.

Copy

the two files into the following folder on

your WASSP Processor:

C:\Users\WASSPUSER\AppData\

Roaming\WASSP\WMBMarine\PM

Start the

Processing Module

if it is not

already running.

Start the

WMB-3250 GUI

if it is not already

running.

In the GUI, navigate to the

General

tab in the

Ship Setup

Ensure that the correct

BTxR Serial Number

has been entered (NB: leading 0s are not

required).

Ensure that the correct

Transducer Serial

Number

has been entered.

Navigate to the

Processing

tab and check

the

Compensation Status

If the files have been loaded correctly and the

serial numbers match, each Compensation

Status will be ‘active’, and the text will be

green.
