Replacing the heating elements
Wen replacing the heating elements, there
is a risk that water still left in the machine
may flood onto the floor. Be sure to dry up
any spilled water since it may cause people
to slip and hurt themselves.
1. Take down power from the machine by turning
the main power switch to the 0 position.
2. Remove the front cover.
3. Make a note of how the heating elements are
connected.
4. Disconnect the connection to the heating
element to be replaced.
5. Unscrew the nut between the connections
approx. 1 cm.
6. Push on the nut and bolt to undo the
expansion bracket from the outer drum.
7. Remove the old heating element and install
the new one. Be sure that the rear edge is
fitted into the element holder at the rear of the
outer drum.
8. Assemble in reverse order.
