Before inspecting, cleaning, or servicing the machine, shut off motor, wait for all moving
parts to stop, and disconnect power supply. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious
personal injury or properly damage.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from
various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloth to remove
dirt, dust, lubricant, grease, etc.
WARNING
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating lubricants, etc.,
come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may
result in serious personal injury.

ou can often make adjustments and repairs described here. For other repairs: have the power
head serviced by an authorized service dealer.
CLEANING THE POWER HEAD

top the motor and remove the battery.
•
Clean dirt and debris from the power head using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
Note: Do not use any strong detergents on the plastic housing or the handle. They can be
damaged by certain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and by solvents such as kerosene.
STORING THE POWER HEAD
• Clean all foreign material from the product.
• Store it in a well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to children.
• Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
WARNING
Do not store the string trimmer in sunlight, in an excessively warm place, or near a furnace.
The battery life will be shortened
