Now, reattach the muffler to the frame, using longer M8-1.25 x 50mm bolts and using the
number of spacers, as indicated in Figure 3 below, between the muffler and frame. Two
spacers are needed for the rear bolt location, while only spacer is required for the other
bolt location. This is done in order to keep a clearance distance between the muffler and
the ends of the U-bolts that have been installed in the previous step. Torque the M8 bolts
to an approx. 21 ft-lbs.
