Inserting / removing the saw blade
NOTE!
Ensure that the sawing shoe 9 and saw blade quick changing system
11 are free from dust and lightly grease them before inserting into the
chuck. This extends the service life of the chuck and the reciprocating
saw.
WARNING!
Disconnect the product from the power source before assembling/
replacing the saw blade.
The reciprocating saw comes with a saw blade quick-changing system that does
not require any tools, for saw blades having 12.7 mm / 1/2" universal shaft. Use
only appropriate saw blades.
• Rotate and hold the saw blade
quick-changing system

material being sawed and insert it

Allow the saw blade to rotate for a few times freely and check visually if
the tool is working properly.
• Release the quick lock mechanism.
• Check if the saw blade is secured properly by pulling it slightly.
• To remove the saw blade, proceed in the same sequence.
