8. Operating the device
8.1 Switching the device on/off
• Make the power supply as described in section 7.
• Press the ON / OFF button (8) for 1-2 seconds
• The LED bulbs start to light up and the 4-level battery charging status indicator
LED´s turns on.
• To turn off the light, press the ON / OFF button (8) again for 1-2 seconds.
8.2 Setting brightness (dimmer function) on the device
• Turn on the light as described in section 8.1.
• Adjust the desired brightness by pressing the Plus (7) or Minus (9) buttons
• The brightness can be changed in 9 steps from 10 to 100 %.
8.3 Activation of flash modes
The Walimex Ice Sword 300 Plus light has several flash modes. The following
modes can be selected
1. 5 Hz flash
2. SOS signal
3. 2 Hz flash
4. Continuous light
• Turn on the light as described in section 8.1.
• Press the ON / OFF button (8) for 1-2 seconds. Normally, the lamp is in conti-
nuous light mode.
• To activate the above flashing modes, press the ON/OFF button (8) BRIEFLY.
• Press the ON / OFF button (8) to switch between the modes (for available
modes see overview above).
• Set the desired mode.

8.4 Setting the remote control mode on the light wand
The Walimex pro Ice Sword 300 Plus light can also be controlled by remote control.
There are four channels available to control multiple lights with one remote control.
The following functions can be set on the light wand with the remote control: ON,
OFF / STANDBY, brightness adjustment.
• Turn on the light as described in section 8.1.
• Press and hold the ON/OFF button (8) on the light wand for 4-5 seconds to
activate the setting of the remote control channel on the light wand.
• The 4-level LED display starts to flash and shows the channel currently set on
the light bar.
• Set a channel from 1 to 4, e.g.one shining LED for channel 1 and 4 shining
LEDs for channel 4.
• Channels from 1 to 4 can be set.
• Set the desired channel by pressing the Plus (7) or Minus (9) buttons.
• Press the ON / OFF button (8) again SHORT to end the channel selection, the
LEDs stop flashing and return to the default battery status display.
• The channel on the device has been set.
• Set the desired channel by pressing the Plus (7) or Minus (9) buttons.
• Set the same channel on the remote control (see section 8.6).
