Walker Aid, LLC is not responsible for a patient fall while using
the walker with a Walker Alarm when:
• The Walker has not been fitted properly to the patient
• The patient has not been trained or is not being properly
trained in the use of the walker.
• The patient has cognitive impairments
• The patient is too unsteady to walk unsupervised
• Any other circumstances which may effect an individuals
balance (dehydration or illness for example)
• Any change in medical, physical, or cognitive condition
LITHIUM-POLYMER BATTERY
Supplied with the Walker Alarm – a Lithium-Polymer Battery
WITH Protection Circuit Module that protects the battery pack
from over charging and over discharging, reducing the risk of
explosion, fire and damage.
CHARGER AND CHARGING
All Walker Alarms will be supplied with UL approved chargers.
If available, PC USB ports/hubs are acceptable when used
with approved power supplies.
Just ensure the charger used is a good one and is rated at 5V
at 200mA or more.
A YELLOW/GREEN charging LED is near the USB charging
connector.
With the charger plugged in, the computer shows the charging
LED YELLOW anytime the battery is being charged, and
GREEN when there is no current being supplied, indicating
that the battery is fully charged.
This is an important visual
safety feature showing what the charger is doing related
to the battery and is important that the responsible person
has knowledge of this.
