f. Install the new shaft seal(s) into the end plate, refer

Section 11: Parts List

identify the required seal. For abrasive style airlocks, the face of the first seal
should be flush with the inner face of the end plate, for all other airlock styles, the
face of the seal should rest against the inner shoulder of the end plate.
