5. Quick reference guide
NOTE
Detailed instructions for the following activities can be found in the relevant sec-
tions of these instructions for use. Strictly follow the sequence of the following
activities during first time use, to prevent damage to the device.

6. Preparing the devices for use
• Remove the brown protective foil from the acrylic glass underside of the device
before first use.
• Place the light table on a dry, grease-free and non-slip surface, such as a
table.
• Pay attention to a secure position, the device should not tilt.
• Pay attention to the correct alignment of the rubber stoppers on the underside
of the light table.
• For even lower high you can remove the rubber stoppers.
7. Power supply
7.1 Connecting the power supply
• Plug the micro USB power connector plug (7) of the included power supply into
the power connector socket (4) of the light table.
• Plug the power cable (Eurostecker) of the power supply (8) into the socket of
your local power supply (AC 100-240V/50-60 Hz).
• The blue power status LED (5) starts to shine.
• The device is ready to use.
NOTE
Compare the local electric power supply with the connection values of the
device. Should the connection values not match, please contact
[email protected] or phone +49 8432-9489-0.
NOTE
Only connect the power supply unit to an earthed plug.
8. Operating the device
8.1 Switching the device ON/OFF
The touch-sensitive ON / OFF switch of this light table can be used both for swit-
ching on / off as well as for the dimming function of the device. A quick and short
contact of the touch sensor activates the ON / OFF function. If you rest your finger
on the sensor for a longer period, the dimming function will be activated.
• Check the correct fit of the power connector plug (7) in the socket of the light
table.
• The illumination of the blue power status LED (5) indicates that the device is
ready for operation.
• Touch the touch-sensitive ON / OFF dimmer switch (3) with a finger
• The illuminated area of the device starts to light up.
• Switch the device off again with a short touch on the ON / OFF dimmer switch
(3).
NOTE
Please pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting the micro-USB plug.
Frequently done failed attempts with excessive force leading to increased wear
of the socket, as you may know it from your smartphone.
8.2 Setting brightness (dimmer function) / brightness memory function
• Place one finger on the touch-sensitive ON / OFF dimmer switch (3)
• The brightness is increased continuously until the maximum brightness is reached,
as long as you keep your finger on the touch dimming switch (3).
• The settings of the brightness alternates between increasing and decreasing the
brightness when you remove your finger from the touch dimming switch and replace
it again.
• Set the desired brightness.
• The light can be switched on and off by a short touch of the dimming touch-switch.
• Touching the touch dimming switch again automatically activates the last selected
brightness (brightness memory function).
• After using the light, please power it off permanently by pulling out the power cable.
