750-626/020-002 Power Supply Filter 24 VDC HI GF
Manual
Version 1.0.0

Device Description
The power supply filter 750-626/020-002 (Power Supply Filter 24 VDC HI GF is
used to feed the 24V system and 24V field supply voltage in a fieldbus node. It
contains a filter for the 24V system supply as well as protection against transient
overvoltages for the system supply and field supply via the power jumper
contacts.
The additional option of ground fault diagnostics is primarily designed for the
commissioning or maintenance phases of a system. The user can enable ground
fault diagnostics via the fieldbus, PLC application or WAGO-I/O-
CHECK
commissioning tool.
Ground fault diagnostics detects asymmetric ground faults in a feed segment of
the 24 VDC field supply. The user receives information as to whether there is a
ground fault against the 24V field or 0V field potential.
If an installation/system consists of several of these feed segments, which are
supplied galvanically isolated from each other, this module can locate the feed
segment affected by the ground fault or limit the location of the ground fault.
Use only in ungrounded supply networks!
In principle, ground fault diagnostics is only possible in ungrounded applications
or supply networks.
Use a marine-certified filter module!
For marine-certified operation in conjunction with 750 Series fieldbus
couplers/controllers, a marine-certified filter module must be used for the 24V
system power supply and for the 24V field power supply.
An additional filter module is also required for the 24V system or 24V field power
supply.
• For use in system with isolation monitoring with/without Ex i supply module
(750-606, 750-625/000-001):
750-624/020-000, 750-624/020-001 or 750-624/020-002,
750-626/020-000, 750-626/025-001 or 750-626/020-002.
• For use with F I/O modules:
750-624, 750-624/000-001 or 750-626.
Additional power must be provided for the field power supply if, for example, the
maximum allowable current sum of 10 A is exceeded in the existing bus node
segment. The power jumper contacts are designed for up to 10 A.
