5.4
WORKS
1. Turn on the control unitVM 5000W. Set main switch (1) to position 1. During the
start-up phase, the device automatically performs an internal function test and then
automatically switches to recipe 1 (15).
2. Set the desired recipe.
3. Set operating pressure of approx. 8 MPa; 80 bar; 1160 psi for the pump regulator (9).
Note:
In the case of material pressure generators with attached control unit, use the regulator
on the device.
4. Release the spray gun.
5. Spray on a test object (pull trigger).
Note:
If the trigger guard is now actuated, the high voltage is switched on and both displays
(21) and (22) change from point to bar display, i.e. the actual value of the high voltage
(21) and the actual value of the spray current (22) are displayed.
6. The high voltage can be switched on and off with the pushbutton (3).
7. Now open AirCoat air (11), approx. 0.01-0.25 MPa; 1-2.5 bar; 14,5-36 psi, and adjust for
the optimal atomization.

PREPARATION FOR SPRAYING WITH FLAT-JET NOZZLE
