General information on cable laying!
If cables are not correctly routed or connected this will lead to frequent
malfunctions or damage to components.
Correct laying and connection of cables is a prerequisite for permanent
faultless functioning of the retrofitted components.
Please observe the following points:
– Always route the cable inside the vehicle, if possible, as this provides
better protection than outside the vehicle. If you have to route the
cable outside the vehicle, ensure that it is securely fastened (with
additional binders, insulating tape etc.).
– To avoid damage to the cable ensure that it is layed sufficiently far
away from hot and moving vehicle parts (exhaust pipes, engine
shafts, generators, fans etc.).
– Seal all cable connections (including those inside the vehicle) with
good quality insulating tape.

Screw the countersunk screws M 3 x 6 mm into the Ø M 3 mm
threaded holes of the camera.
To minimise screw corrosion we recommend greasing the threads.

Fastening the camera in the camera holder
Only use the M 4 x 10 mm screws to fit the camera. Longer
screws will lead to damage to the camera.

Push the camera into the camera holder and align so that the lens is
at an angle of approx. 50° (see
.
G 15) to the vertical axis of the
vehicle.

Fasten the camera loosely with the M 4 x 10 mm screws. The screws
are tightened as soon as the camera has been aligned with the aid
of the monitor.
To minimise corrosion of the screws we recommend greasing the
threads.
