Connecting to the vehicle indicators (cable set 2)
Note
Check the following:
– Whether the indicators are switched to
postive
(the cables to the
indicators carry +12 V when the indicators are activated).
– Or whether the indicators are connected to
negative
(the cables to the
indicators act as earth when the indicators are activated).
Depending on the type of switch, the position of the jumper (fig.
3
3
page 4) on the comfort indicator module has to be adjusted.

Insert the plug of cable set 2 into socket 2 on the comfort indicator module
(fig.
3
2, page 4).

Connect the
red
cable to a switched power supply (te15).
➤
Connect the
green
cable to wire between the indicator relay/control unit and the
indicator switch. A voltage impulse can be measured on this wire when indicat-
ing both left and right.

Connect the
orange
cable to the left indicator wire.
