Cleaning the Sediment Cup

Procedure

Perform the procedure below in cleaning the sediment cup.
1. Turn the fuel valve off.

2. Remove the sediment cup

(a)

and the O-ring

(b).

3. Wash both thoroughly in a non-flammable solvent. Dry and re-install them.

4. Turn the fuel valve on and check or leaks.

Scraper Bars

Check

Check the two scraper bars

(a)

for wear. Scraper bars are made of metal which can

wear quickly when used with abrasive materials. Replace scraper bars as needed.

How to clean

The scraper bars should be cleaned daily after use or as often as needed to
remove built-up dirt, mud, and tar.

Use a high-pressure water jet and a strong brush if needed.
