4.12 Operation on Slopes
Remember When operating on slopes or hills, special care must be taken to reduce the risk of
personal injury or damage to the equipment. Always operate the machine up and
down hills rather than from side to side. For safe operation and for protection of the
engine, continuous duty use should be restricted to front/rear slopes of 9° (15%
grade) or less.
WARNING
Do not operate the machine sideways on slopes. The machine may roll over, even
on stable ground.
