4.9 Emergency Shutdown Procedure
Every one of our products is fitted with an emergency stop button as standard. It is
located on the external panel on the right hand side of the machine.
In case of
emergency, push the emergency button and it will shut off the engine in a few
seconds.
The engine will remain off until the emergency stop button is released. To release
the button, twist it in the direction of the arrows on the button.
4.10 Shut-off
If the outlet socket is being used, make sure the power shutdown will not create
any hazards by accidentally turning off equipment that needs to be kept on (pumps,
compressors, lights, etc.)
The machine shut-off procedure should be the following:
1. Turn off and disconnect anything connected to the outlet socket (if fitted).
2. Make sure that the generator is not supplying any power.
3. Switch the individual circuit breakers for each light to the OFF position.
4. Switch the main circuit breaker to the OFF position.
5. We suggest leaving the engine idling for a couple of minutes without any load in
order to reduce the internal temperatures of the engine and alternator.
6. Stop the engine by turning the key to the STOP position.
7. Allow the lights to cool 10–15 minutes before lowering the mast.
8. Lower the tower using the winch on the left-hand side of the mast.
9. Lock all the compartments and be sure to remove all the keys before leaving the
machine.
If the machine needs to be moved, additionally:
1.
Ensure that the machine will not move once the jacks are retracted
(use
wheel chocks or other anchoring means).
2. Ensure that the towing bar tongue jack is down and locked so that the unit will
not tip over when the jacks are removed.
3. Lift, retract, and lock the jacks following a reverse procedure to the one
described in
Stabilizing the Unit
.
4. Connect the machine to a towing vehicle.
