Check the fuel level and top off
1. Remove dirt accumulation within the range of the fuel filler neck.
2. Open the fuel cap.
3. Check the fuel level by visual inspection.
4. If necessary, top off the fuel with a clean filling container.

6. Tightly close the fuel cap.
Check water trap
1. Check the inspection glass for water (moisture) content.
2. Loosen the drain plug 2-3 revolutions.
3. Collect the escaping drops in a transparent container.
4. Once only fuel is escaping, tighten the drain plug.
5. Dispose of the water-fuel mixture in an environmentally friendly manner.
NOTE
Diesel fuel:
Only use clean diesel fuel. Immediately lock the fuel tank. The utmost cleanliness is also
essential here, as otherwise inevitable faults will occur in the injection system and
premature clogging of the fuel filter will occur. Do not open the fuel line system and the
fuel pump, not even for aeration. The fuel pump will aerate itself. Even if the fuel tank was
accidentally driven empty, only fill the tank. Due to the risk of soiling, do not loosen any
screws at any point of the fuel system.

NOTE
Only fill the fuel tank to the bottom edge of the filler neck.
NOTE
Since water is specifically heavier than diesel fuel, the water will exit first and then the fuel.
This can be seen by a clear separating line.
