Changing the Backup Battery
Background
The hour meter uses a 9V backup battery to power the display when the main
power supply is disconnected.
Procedure
Follow the procedure below to change the backup battery.
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the power supply.
3. Remove the four screws
(a)
that secure the control panel to the machine.
4. Remove the battery
(b)
and replace it with a new battery.
5. Re-install the control panel with the four screws.
Result
The backup battery has now been changed.
WARNING
Electric shock hazard. High voltage exists inside the control panel when the
machine is connected to a power supply. Electric shock can cause severe injury or
death.

Disconnect the power supply before changing the control panel battery.
