To familiarise yourself with the embroidery unit, we recommend
you embroider an embroidery pattern from the unit's memory.
Why not try pattern number 016?
W6 tip:
•
In the case of stretch fabrics, jersey, silk or terry towelling,
water-soluble W6 stabiliser must also be placed on top of
the fabric. This prevents damage to the fabric during the
embroidery process.

Once the embroidery is finished, remove the water-soluble
W6 stabiliser using a spray bottle filled with water.
Work through the following points carefully:
Take time to thread the sewing machine correctly.
Only then can you achieve the best embroidery design.
Remember: 95% of all tension problems when embroidering are
the result of threading the sewing machine incorrectly.
1. Upper thread: Every time before you change the thread,
press the needle function button so the thread take-up is in
the perfect position.
The presser foot must be clicked in the upper position.
Hold the upper thread on the spool and pull it very tightly into
the thread tension (from point 1–6).
This should produce an audible grating noise.
2. A video for optimal threading (just 4 min. long) can be found
on our W6 website under Service / Help / Model name.
3. Lower thread: Take the bobbin in your left hand, the thread
must then run down on the left-hand side.
The right thumb / index finger presses the bobbin down firmly
so the bobbin cannot move.
The lower thread must be threaded taut into the thread
tension.
