• Using the Flash
When you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in
heavy shadows, your use the flash.
Press the
button ( ▲ ) repeatedly to scroll through
the flash options.
The flash icon that is displayed on the LCD monitor is the active option.
Off—
flash never fires. (Default)
Auto Flash— flash fires when the lighting conditions require it.
Force Flash— flash fires every time you take a picture, regardless
of the lighting conditions.
Red-eye— flash fires once so the subject’s eyes become
accustomed to the flash, then fires again when the picture is taken.
The Red-eye option remains in effect until you change it.
Note: All flash options revert to Off when the camera is turned off.
• Setting Picture Quality
Use the Quality setting to select a picture resolution:
1. Make sure the
Function switch is on , then press the MENU button.
2. Press the ◄ or ► to select [
Pict Size]
and press the Enter button.
