Analog 1-Line Hidden Base

Telephone base installation

This section assumes that your network 
infrastructure is established.
You can power the telephone base using 
a compatible VTech power adapter. Install 
the telephone base near a power outlet not 
controlled by a wall switch. The telephone base 
can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on 
a wall in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

To install the telephone base

Plug one end of the telephone line cord into 
the RJ jack on the rear of the telephone base 
(marked by TO TEL), and plug the other end of 
the cord into your telephone wall jack.
Connect the supplied power adapter to the 
telephone base power jack.
Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet 
that is not controlled by a wall switch.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1.  Use only a compatible VTech power adapter. 

To order a replacement power adapter, call 
1-888-907-2007.

2.  The power adapter is intended to be correctly 

oriented in a vertical or floor mount position. 
The prongs are not designed to hold the plug 
in place if it is plugged into a ceiling, under-
the-table or cabinet outlet.
