Handset settings
In the handset
Settings
menu, you can change and edt the handset settngs.
You can also clear the voce mal ndcaton, delete a handset regstraton
or restore the default settngs.
To enter the
Settings
menu:
1. Press
MENU/SEL
n dle mode to enter the man menu.
2. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
Navkeys to select
Settings
, then press
MENU/SEL
to enter the
Settings
menu. You can then select:
•
Edit Handset Name
- edt the handset name up to 15 characters
(page 31).
•
Show Handset Name
- dsplay the handset name when n dle
mode (page 31).
•
Keypad Tone
- turn the keypad tone on or off (page 32).
•
Language
- change the handset language to Englsh, Spansh, or
French (page 32).
•
LCD Contrast
- adjust the LCD screen contrast (page 33).
•
Clear Voice Mail
- clear the voce mal ndcaton (page 33).
•
Default Settings
- restore the handset settngs back to default (page 34).
•
Delete Registration
- delete the regstraton of a handset (page 34).
After a setting has been saved or set, you will hear a confirmation tone and
the dsplay wll return to the
Settings
menu.
Whle n the
Settings
menu:
Press
OFF/CANCEL
to return to a prevous menu.
Press and hold
OFF/CANCEL
to return to dle mode.
