TRIMMER CLEANING &
MAINTENANCE
Because the trimmer blades are precision made for a very special use, they
should always be handled with care. To ensure long-lasting performance of your
trimmer, it is important to clean the the comb guide after every use.
The blades are washable for easy cleaning.
To remove the trimming blade, make sure that the trimmer is switched off & the
cutting comb guide is removed. Hold the trimmer with the blades pointing up &
remove them by pressing their points.
To clean the blades:
1. First, take a small brush & brush away any loose hairs that have collected
in the blades.
2. Rinse the trimming blades under running water. The comb guide can also be
rinsed separately.
3. After cleaning, make sure to shake off excess water & dry the head of the
trimming comb guide before replacing onto the handle.
After rinsing the blades, they will need to be re-oiled.
Using the oil supplied with your new tool, unscrew the cap & cut off the very end
of the plastic tube with a pair of scissors to release the oil.
Switch your tool on, gently squeeze the oil tube & apply 2 drops of oil onto the
blades. Leave the tool on for a further few seconds to allow the oil to thoroughly
spread across each of the blades. Switch off the tool & remove any excess oil by
gently dabbing with a cloth.
