During usage
• W hen you first run yo u r oven a certain sm ell w ill em anate from the insulation m aterials and the
heater elem ents. For th is reason, before using y o u r oven, run it em pty at m axim um te m perature for
45 m inutes. At the sam e tim e you need to properly ventilate the e n vironm ent in w hich the product is
installed.
• During usage, the o uter and inner su rfa ce s o f the oven get hot. W hile opening the oven door, step
back to avoid the hot steam com ing out o f the oven. There m ay be a risk o f burns.
• Do not put flam m able or com bustible m aterials, in o r near the appliance w hen it is operating.
• A lw ays use oven gloves to rem ove and replace food in the oven.
• Do not leave the co o ke r while cooking w ith solid or liquid oils. They m ay catch fire on condition of
extrem e heating. Never pour w a te r on to flam es that are caused by oil. C over the saucepan or
frypan w ith its cover in o rder to choke the flam e th a t has occured in th is case and turn the cooker off.
• A lw ays position pans over the centre o f the cooking zone, and turn the handles to a safe position
so they cannot be knocked or grabbed.
• If you w ill not use the appliance fo r a long tim e, plug it off. Keep the main control sw itch off. Also
w hen you do not use the appliance, keep the gas valve off.
• Make sure the appliance control knobs are alw ays in the "0" (stop) position w hen it is not used.
• The trays incline w hen pulled out. Be careful not to let hot liquid spill over.
• W hen the d oor or d raw er o f the oven is open, do not leave anything on it. You m ay unbalance yo u r
appliance or break the cover.
• Do not put heavy th in g s or flam m able or ignitable goods (nylon, plastic bag, paper, cloth...etc) into
the drawer. T his includes cookw are w ith plastic a cce sso rie s (e.g. handles).
• Do not hang tow els, dishcloths or clothes from the appliance or its handles.
During cleaning and maintenance
• A lw ays turn the appliance o ff before ope ra tio n s such as cleaning or m aintenance. You can do it
a fter plugging the appliance o ff or turning the main sw itch e s off.
• Do not rem ove the control knobs to clean the control panel.
