OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Clock
For certain markets, the Volvo 164 is fitted
with an electric clock. The clock is set by
pushing in the knob in the middle of the
clock and turning the hands to the desired
ti me.
Vehicles not fitted with a clock have an
oddments console fitted instead in front of
the gear lever.
22 Fuses
The electrical equipment is protected by
a number of fuses housed in a compart-
ment under the dashboard. If a fuse has
to be replaced, always make sure that
i t is replaced with a fuse of the correct
rating. If fuses burn out repeatedly, do
not replace with a fuse of higher rating
but have a workshop check the electrical
system.
On the inside of the cover of the fuse
compartment there is room for a number
of spare fuses.
The two fuses for the foglights are located
i n a fusebox on the left-hand side in the
engine compartment.
