Never charge the battery pack at an
ambient temperature of below 10°C or
above 40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level
must be checked regularly. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%.
The storage climate should be cool and
dry and the ambient temperature should
be between 0°C and 50°C.
Always disconnect the mains plug before
removing the battery pack from or inserting
it into the charger.
CAUTION!
Insert the battery pack into the charger.
Insert the power plug into the socket. The
green charge control LED lights up briefly,
then the red charge control LED lights up.
The green control LED indicates that
charging is complete and the battery pack
is ready for use.

Slide the battery pack into the handle until it
engages.
Removing the battery pack:
Press the release button and remove the
battery pack.
Checking the battery charge level
To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button. The status/remaining
charge is shown on the battery display LED
as follows:
GREEN/RED/ORANGE = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery.
Information concerning saw blades
As standard, the device is supplied with saw
blades.

1 saw blade for cutting in light metals up to
5mm thick.

Even if properly operating and handling this
product in accordance with all the safety
requirements, potential risks of injury and
damage remain.
a) Ear damage if working without ear protec-
tion.
b) Never hold the workpiece in your hand or
over your leg. Secure the workpiece in a sta-
ble fixture. It is important that the workpiece
is properly clamped so that the risk of body
contact and lost control of the power tool is
minimized.
c) Note that the saw blade is sharp and can
be hot. Always wear gloves when changing
saw blades to avoid burns or cuts.
d) Risk of vibration damage. Avoid long
work periods and interrupt work if there is
a change in the skin color of the hands or if
the fingers are asleep. Plan the work so that
exposure to heavy vibrations is spread over a
longer period.
e) The harmful /toxic dusts produced during
operation pose the risk to the health of the
operator and persons in the vicinity. Wear
eye protection and a dust mask.
f) The device is not a toy and does not be-
long in the hands of children.
Before use
Charging the battery pack
You can also use other suitable sawblade
with single lug shank.

Always remove the battery from the jigsaw
before inserting or removing a saw blade.
Detach the protective cover.
Turn the qick-release chuck to the side and
hold it in this position.
