• Make sure that the low-voltage cable of the wall plug transformer is not pinched or
kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices, and never place any liquid-containing
objects (such as vases) on top of them or near them. You run the risk of causing a
fi
re or a fatal electric shock.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is a life-threatening
electric shock hazard!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer
is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example
remove the safety fuse or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch,
so that the socket is fully disconnected).
You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of
the faulty wall plug transformer in an environmentally friendly way, do not use it
any more.
• Do not leave the packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
Getting Started
Before you plug the wall plug transformer into the mains socket, the output voltage
must be correctly adjusted via the sliding switch on the top of the housing.
Important!
The output voltage of the wall plug transformer must correspond to the input voltage
of the electrical load that is connected to the transformer.
If this is not observed, both the connected load and the transformer will be dam-
aged, loss of warranty!
• Before you connect a load, it is imperative that you select the correct output voltage. For
this purpose, you will
fi
nd a sliding switch on the top of the transformer.
• Connect a load via the screw clamps. In so doing, pay attention to the correct polarity
(observe plus/+ and minus/-; see label on the screw clamp).
• Plug the wall plug transformer into an appropriate mains socket. The LED on the wall plug
transformer lights up.
• If the load has an on/off switch, switch the load on now. If this does not function correctly,
switch it off immediately and check the correct cable connection (polarity) and the correct
setting of the output voltage on the wall plug transformer.
• To save energy, unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket as soon as it is no
longer needed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The wall plug transformer does not require any maintenance and should never be disas-
sembled for any reason.
Pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket before cleaning.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as these
can cause discolouration. Do not press too strongly on the surface when cleaning, to prevent
scratch marks.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.

Intended Use
The product is used to supply power to electrical loads. The output voltage can be adjusted in
multiple steps.
The current circuit of the connected loads must not exceed the output current of the wall plug
transformer.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions.
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names of
companies and products are the trademarks of the respective owners. All rights reserved.
Package Contents
• Wall plug transformer
• Operating instructions
Explanation of the symbols
The symbol with the lightning bolt indicates that the product is on the mains
voltage.
In the operating manual, an exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates important
instructions.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modi
fi
cation of the product is not permitted
for safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy. Devices operated using mains voltage must be kept
out of the reach of children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are
around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product is intended for use only in dry, indoor locations. The product must
not become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet! There is a life-
threatening electric shock hazard!
• The design of the wall plug transformer complies with Protection Class II. Use
only a standard mains socket as the power source for the wall plug transformer.
The mains socket into which the wall plug transformer is plugged must be easily
accessible.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a
warm one. The condensation that forms might damage the product under certain
circumstances. Furthermore, this could cause a lethal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during
transport:
- Excessive humidity or dampness
- Extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight
- Dust or
fl
ammable gases, fumes or
-
solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows,
- Strong magnetic
fi
elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or
loudspeakers
• Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the
cable. Hold it on the sides of the casing and pull it out of the mains socket.
• When using the product, make sure that suf
fi
cient air circulation is ensured and
do not cover the product.
• Always place the cable carefully so that nobody can trip over it. Risk of injury.
