Downloading the app
Go to the app portal (e.g. Google Play Store) and download the app for the measurement onto
your smartphone or tablet.
In the search field, enter the app name “Voltcraft HCHO monitor FAS-100” and start the search.
Select the app and install it on your gadget.
Connecting the meter
Before you connect the meter to your smartphone or tablet, start the Voltcraft HCHO
monitor FAS-100 app.
• Use the USB-C plug to connect the meter to your smartphone or tablet. It does not matter
how you connect the plug. While connecting the meter to your smartphone, ensure you

App description and measurement
• The app is simple and intuitive.
• Use the following buttons to control the app:
• Tapping the “Home” button always returns to the home screen (Monitoring).
• “History” contains all measurement data records with date and time stamps. This menu
allows you to view the measurement data as a graph or list.
• “Settings” contains information about the app version.
• “Record” initiates measurement data recording with date and time stamp.
• “Screen Shot” allows the static storage of screen display in the image format (png).
• Use the Send button in the top right corner to forward the data.
• The Monitoring window displays the measurement data as a plain measured value at the
top and as a graph at the bottom. The measurement is highlighted in traffic light colours
(green, orange and red) depending on the height. The colour intensity of the highlighted
measurement also varies with the concentration. You can thus quickly visually assess the
concentration. The field in the middle displays the possible health risks for the current
average measurement.
The ambient air should flow about the sensor inside the meter for a few seconds
for the measurement to stabilise. Ensure the housing openings in the meter are not
obstructed so that the ambient air can freely flow through them.
