ONFIGURATION
The Configuration chapter describes how to
configure panel settings to make measurements
and observations suited to the application needs.
Acquisition
The acquisition process samples the analog input signals and
converts them into digital format for internal processing. You may
select the normal, average, or peak detect acquisition mode.
Selecting the acquisition mode
Procedure
1. Press the Acquire key.

Average
Multiple data are averaged to form a
waveform. This mode is useful for
drawing a noise-free waveform. To
select the number, press
Average
repeatedly.
Average number: 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128,
256
Peak detect
To activate the Peak detect mode,
press
Peak-Detect
. Only the minimum
and maximum value pairs for each
acquisition interval (bucket) are used.
This mode is useful for catching
abnormal glitches in the signal.

detection mode. Connect the
probe to the probe
compensation output.
