The device has several pieces of safety equipment that help reduce the risk of injury when working
:
1. Bump Stop
The bump stop enables the motor block to be
secured to the wood when using pull saws.
Uncontrolled kickback of the saw is thus made more
difficult. This process also exerts pressure on the
saw chain due to the generated leverage.
2. Chain Catcher
The chain catcher serves to catch a torn saw chain
or a chain that has jumped off the guide bar.
Through regular maintenance of the guide bar and
correct and
regular tensioning of the saw chain,
accidents of this type can be prevented.
3. Rear Hand Guard
The rear hand guard serves to protect hands against
a jumped chain and thrown branches and twigs.
