Functional description of rear belt tensioner.

The first propellant charge is ignited by a
mechanical triggering device.

The released gas causes the rotor to rotate.
The belt is tightened.
After a certain angle of rotation, the piston
opens the inlet port of the second firing pin,
thus igniting the second propellant charge.

The released gas makes the rotor rotate until
the next inlet channel is opened.
The third charge ignites.

The belt tensioner is able to perform approxi-
mately two full turns in this way.
