SIP User Setting (SIP Config)

In this section you can define the main SIP account settings. Firstly, you will need to

create a new user at the server PBX and make sure that the firewall allows UDP traffic

through port 5060 and RTP port (for audio signals). Subsequently, you will need to fill in

the fields below:

Please find below the explanation of these fields.

FIELD

DESCRIPTION

Register Server

Addr

IP address of the server PBX.

Register Server

Port

Server PBX port used for SIP traffic.

Register Username

Username for SIP authentication.

Register Password

Password for SIP authentication.

Domain Realm

Server PBX domain. Please enter the server’s IP address in case

you are using a VOIspeed PBX.

Register Expire

Time

Registration timeout. This is the interval of time between two

authentications performed by the V-IP400P to the server PBX.

Phone Number

Telephone extension number.

DTMF Mode

This field describes how DTMF tones should be transmitted.

These are the options available: in audio (DTMF_RELAY),

through RFC 2833 protocol or within SIP protocol INFO

messages.
