If you are not familiar with electrical power and procedures, call a qualified electrician.

Improper connection of the
equipment

grounding conductor can result in a risk
of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician
or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the
appliance is properly grounded. Do not modify the
plug provided with the appliance if it will not fi t the
outlet; have a proper outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
These appliances are meant forhousehold use
only. Do not use for commercial application.
For Models Equipped with a Grounded Cord:
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: This appliance must
be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance for e lectric current to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord
having an equipment-grounding conductor and a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.

appliance.
To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision
is req uired when an appliance is used near
children.
Do n ot put fingers or hands into a waste
dispo ser
Turn the electrical switch connected to the
dispo ser to the off position before attempting to
clear a jam or remove an object from the
dispo ser.
Whe n attempting to loosen a jam in a waste
dispo ser, use long wooden object such as a
wooden spoon or the handle of a broom or mop.
Whe n attempting to remove objects from a
waste disposer, use long-handled tongs or
pliers. If the disposer is magnetically actuated,
use only nonmagnetic tools.
To reduce the risk of injury by materials that
may be expelled by a waste disposer, do not
put the following into a disposer:
a) Clam or oyster shells.
b) Caustic drain cleaners or similar products.
c) Glass, china or plastic
d) Large whole bones.
e) Metal, such as bottle caps, tin cans, utensils
or aluminum foil.
f) Hot grease or other hot liquids.
g) Whole corn husks
This appliance must be installed by the local
autho rity or the national authority. Do not
disassemble for any reason when the
appliance is installed. There are no serviceable
parts.

When not operating a disposer, leave the drain
stopper in place to redu ce the risk of objects falling into
the disposer.
The appliance must be installed so that reset button
is readily accessible.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they h ave been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for th eir safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance.
If the supply cord is da maged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Make sure that the installation of this appliance is
allowed by the authorities.
This marking indicates that this product should not be
disposed with other household wastes throughout the
EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or
human health from uncontrolled waste disposal,
recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse
of material resources. To return your used device,
please use the return and collection
systems or contact the retailer where
the product was purchased. They
can take this product for
environmental safe recycling.
Never use this applian ce in damp location (eg.
bathroom or laundry room ).
Do not use this appliance to dispose of hard materials
such as glass and metal.
Switch off or unplug th e appliance before attempting
to free a jammed rotor with an implement.
