Getting Started
Mounting the DVG-888K
What you will need
• Rack ears (included)
• 8 Rack ear screws (included)
• 19” Rack-mount case with 2 RUs* available (not included)
• 4 Rack screws (not included)
• Phillips-head screwdriver (not included)
* 1 RU = 1.75”
Installing the rack ears
1. Line up the four holes on the rack ears with the four holes on the front sides of the
DVG-888K
.
2. Using the included rack ear screws, screw them in to the four holes on each side until the rack ears are securely fastened.
Mounting into a Rack-mount case
1. Carefully place the
DVG-888K
in the rack space of your case. Make sure holes are aligned evenly.
2. Use an alternating “X” rotation when securing screws to ensure even tension and alignment.
Connecting the Power
The
DVG-888K
can be connected directly to a wall plug or to a surge protector (recommended) for added protection.
Note: The
DVG-888K
automatically switches between 110V and 240V.
1. Connect the power cord securely to the AC IN on the rear panel of the
DVG-888K
.
2. Connect the other end to the power plug or surge protector.
