Connecting Video
Connecting Video Using the RCA Video Output
What you will need:
• 1 RCA video cable (usually labeled yellow)
• A TV, video monitor or video mixer with an RCA video input
1. Connect one end of the
RCA
video cable to the yellow RCA VIDEO output on the rear panel of the DVG-888K.
2. Connect the other end of the
RCA
video cable to an RCA video input jack on a TV, monitor or video mixer.
Connecting Video using the S-VIDEO Output
What you will need:
• 1 S-Video cable (not included)
• A TV or video monitor with an S-Video input
Use the
VIDEO
button on the remote to select
S-VIDEO
output.
See the Choosing the Right Video Output Mode in the
Operations section of this manual for detailed instructions on setting the video mode.
1. Connect one end of the
S-Video
cable to the S-VIDEO output on the rear panel of the
DVG-888K
2. Connect the other end of the
S-Video
cable to an S-Video input on your TV or Video monitor
Connecting Digital Video Using the RGB outputs
For optimum video signal, use the RGB video outputs to connect to a TV or monitor with RGB inputs
Note: RGB Video and Component Video output are not the same and are not directly compatible with each other, however, they are easily
converted either way using a transcoder (not included).
What you will need:
• 3 RGB (red, green, and blue) video cables (not included)
• A TV or Monitor with RGB video inputs
Use the VIDEO button on the remote to select either Y/Pb/Pr or Y/Cb/Cr output.
See the Choosing the Right Video Output Mode in the
Operations section of this manual for detailed instructions on setting the video mode.
1. Connect one end of each RGB cable to the R, G and B video outputs on the rear
panel of the
DVG-888K
2. Connect the other end of each cable to the R, G and B video inputs on a
TV or Video monitor.
Note:
Make sure Red goes to Red, Green goes to Green and Blue goes to Blue.
