Troubleshooting
CAUTION
If you enc ounter a problem, pleas e turn the power
off, then on again. If the unit s till no func tion
normally, pleas e review the items in the following
c hec klis t. This guide will help you is olate the
problem if the unit is at fault. O therwis e, make
s ure the res t of your s ys tem is properly c onnec ted
or c ons ult your authorized dealer.
- If c onnec te d following the ins truc tions , the unit
will not operate with the vehic les ignition off.
- C hec k if the power lead is properly c onnec ted.
- R eplac e the fus e on the battery lead of the unit
with the proper value.
- C hec k the voltage of vehic leís battery.
- Allow enough time for the c ondens ation to
evaporate (about 1 hour).
No function or display.
Disc playback sound is wavering.
Vehic leís ignition off.
Improper power lead c onnec tions .
No fus e or blown fus e.
Vehic leís battery is weak.
Mois ture c ondens ation in the dis c unit.
- E jec t the dis c and dis c ard it. Us ing a damaged dis c
in your unit c an c aus e damage to the mec hanis m.
- S ec urely re-mount the unit.

Unable to fast-forward or fast-reverse the disc.
Disc playback sound skips due to vibration.

Improper mounting of the unit.

- Adjus t the brightnes s .
- S witc h to the c orrec t mode.
- C hec k the c o nnec tion to the s ourc e unit.
- C hec k the power of the s ourc e unit.
- C hec k the c onnec tion and remedy.
- C hec k the dis c and load it with the label s ide fac ing
you.
- C lean the dis c .
- C hec k if the dis c is able to be played bac k.
- C anc el the parental loc k or c hange the rating level.
- P res s to turn the menu off.
- R eplac e with an non-s c ratc hed dis c .
- C hec k eac h c ontrol.
- Wait a while (about 1 hour) for the warm up. After that,
the monitor will return to the normal c ondition.
Monitorís power is not turned on.

Monitorís mode is not s witc hed to the mode you
want to s ee.
Monitorís parking break c ord is not c onnec ted.
