Displaying Disc Status
Us e the proc edure des c ribed below to dis play the
s tatus (title number, c hapter number, etc .) of the
c urrently playing DVD/VC D/C D on the monitor
s c reen.

Switching Subtitles (DVD only)
With multiple s ubtitle language DVDs , the s ubtitle
language c an be s witc hed during playbac k, or
s ubtitles c an be hidden.

The s ubtitle s witc hed between the languages
rec orded on the dis c and O F F eac h time the button is
pres s ed.

There may be a delay before the selected subtitle
appears.
·
Not all disc with allow changing the subtitles during
playback. In these cases, select subtitles from the
MMDís menu.
The selected subtitle language becomes the default
·
setting every time the power is turned on or the disc
is replaced. If the disc does not include that language,
the discís default language is selected instead.
·
For some discs, the subtitles will be displayed even
when this is set to off.

trac ks rec orded on the dis c eac h time the button is
pres s ed.

The selected alternate track becomes the default
setting every time the power is turned on or the disc is
replaced. If the disc does not Include that track, the
discís default language is selected instead.

tracks from the DVD menu.
