Formatting
You can use the Format
menu to delete all of the content that is currently on your camera‟s
memory or SD Memory Card.
Keep in mind that formatting the memory card will permanently delete all of the content on
your camera’s memory – internal or SD Memory Card.
This option will delete all of the content at one time. If you would like to delete individual images,
use the delete menu
in the camera‟s Playback mode.
In the Playback mode:
1) Press the Menu / OK button.
2) Press the Up / Down button to select the FORMAT option.
3) Press the Menu / OK button.
4) Press the Up / Down button to select
either “Yes” or “No”.
5) Press the Menu / OK button again to confirm your selection.

“Format OK” message will appear on the LCD once the format has completed.
