When using your digital video camera for the first time, it is recommended to select your camera
LANGUAGE
and
DATE & TIME
before you begin capturing videos, sounds or photos.
Setting the Language
Set the language that appears on the camera menu options.
1. Turn the
Power
on.
2. Press the
MENU
button.
3. Press the
Right
direction control button to open the Setup menu.
4. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons and select the
Language
option.
5. Press the
OK
or
Right
button to enter the Language submenu.
6. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to highlight and select the language you
desire.
7. Press the
OK
button to save your selection. This changes the language interface of the
camcorder to the language you selected.
8. Press the
MENU
button to close the menu and exit the Setup function.
Setting the Date and Time
Set the time and date that appears on the photos you capture.
1. Turn the
Power
on.
2. Press the
MENU
button.
Press the
Right
direction control button to open the Setup menu.
3. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons and select the
Date & Time
option.
4. Press the
OK
button to open the Date and Time settings.
5. Press the
LEFT
or
RIGHT
direction control buttons to select the Year, Month, Day, Hour,
Minute and Date Format
6. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to change the digits on each of the settings
you wish to update.
7. Press the
OK
button to save your selection.
8. Press the
MENU
button to close the menu and exit the Setup function.
