Power Frequency Menu
The options in the Frequency menu represent the frequency of the electrical current in
fluorescent lighting sources in your locale. If your camera is set to a frequency that does not
match your country‟s electric current, you may see waves on the images taken by your camera.
50Hz
– UK, Europe and Australia
60Hz
– US, Canada and South America
1. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to select the
Power Frequency
menu.
2. Press the
OK
button to open the Power Frequency submenu.
3. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to highlight and select the Power
Frequency options:
50Hz; 60Hz
4. Press the
OK
button to save your selection.
5. The selected option will appear to the right of the menu item.
6. Press the
UP/DOWN/LEFT
/
RIGHT
direction control buttons to select the next menu item.
7. Press the
MENU
button to exit the menu and return to the previous screen.
8. Remember that this setting will be saved by your camera until you manually change the
setting or restore the camera‟s default factory settings.
Power Save Menu
You can use the Power Save feature in order to conserve your
camera‟s battery life. The
designated time represents when your camera will automatically power off.
When the camera sits idle for the designated period of time, the camera will shut off completely
and will need to be turned on again with the power button before the next use.
The Power Save options include:
1 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes
1. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to select the
Power Save
menu.
2. Press the
OK
button to open the Power Save submenu.
