Hide/Show the LCD Icons
The display of the icons on the LCD screen can be hidden or visible as desired.
1. Press the
DISPLAY
to hide the display of the icons on the screen.
2. Press the
DISPLAY
twice. The screen will be black but the camera is still active. This
keeps the camera on and saves the battery consumption.
3. Press the
DISPLAY
button three times to redisplay the scene and icons on the screen.
Photo Capture Mode Menus
The following are the menus that appear in your camera‟s Photo Capture Mode:
Resolution, Quality, Metering, White Balance, Exposure, Capture Mode, Effect, and Date Stamp
Resolution Menu
The Resolution menu allows you to choose the desired size of the images taken by your camera.
Keep in mind that images with a higher resolution will also take u
p more of your camera‟s
memory.
The Resolution options include:
(5M) 2592 x 1944, (3M) 2048 x 1536, (2M) 1600 x 1200, (1M) 1280 x 960, and (VGA) 640 x 480
1. Press the
MENU
button to open the menus for the current mode.
2. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to scroll and select the
Resolution
menu.
3. Press the
OK
button to open the selected menu.
4. Press the
UP
or
DOWN
direction control buttons to highlight the desired menu option.
5. Press the
OK
button to select and save the desired option.
6. The selected option will appear to the right of the menu item.
7. Press the
LEFT
/
RIGHT
or
UP/DOWN
buttons to select the next menu item.
8. Press the
MENU
button to exit the menu and return to the previous screen.
9. An icon reflecting your selection will display on the LCD screen.
10. Remember that this setting will be saved by your camera until you manually change the
setting or restore the camera‟s default factory settings.
